THE SADNESS OF ABIKU by Olatunde Segun Michael

Blame me not
For my cold blooded visit
But for the text in my two palms
The eloquence smiles on my mother's tribal face
The oxymoron of my blissful face

My bodies have covered owu river
My demise now a premise of remising sadness
Blame me not
For my demise, a constant rebirth
To renew my taste of sugared kernel

Am not an Abiku
But a queen in the Atupa land
Where all minds beckons on nuts

Tell me why I shouldn't go?
When my crown replaced with amure cotton
When my sacred tongues of command
Creep under my mother's throats

Blame me not
For the annual festive of yams and palm wine
And the pretended smiles on my innocent face
Blame me not
For the wasteful customized bangles on my legs
And the yearly mark featured on my cheek
And my uproar cries in mid night silences
My spirit ready for sacrificial reunion..

Let me go back
For my ears to hear the noise of constant beats
My nose to smell the aura of burning grass
And my tongues to taste the savoury of roasted bones
Let me go back
For my feets to feel the feets of my friends.

AFRICAN GIRL

She is an African girl
With hair so glitter as gold
Her ebony skin and ravishing bones
Smooth like the Umasru sweet potatoes

She is an African girl
The lens on her two dose eyes
Whirling, blinking and rounding
Like a lonely star amidst constellation
The big calabash at her backyard door
Inviting like the aura of Adoa beanscake

She is an African girl
The river "witch" has showed again
To swim men down the river bank
Tell her
My fins are ready to swim

Tell Amaka,her mother
It time for exchange of numerous yams and palm wine
For the longing forest tree
Ready to fall on the high way road
The two kolanut balls on the Apara tree
Ready to crack on elders teeth
The virgin soil of arewa land
Ready for Bush fallowing

She is an African girl
The zit so tiny on her oily face
Like the incarnate of my mother's tribal mark
The open space in her snowy teeth
Like the sliver linning amidst the sky
Her walking steps
Like the regular beats of a rapping mortal

Let this adorable hut
Be the habitant of our two burning souls
For the death so pleased to have
Is to die with an African girl.

I LOVE YOU

When war waged against my mind

Leaving me in utmost bewilderment
You appeared with a rigorous find
Only to suppress my horrofic sentiment
Oh! I love you

When I fell in that hunter's trap
My flesh dance to the tone of pain
But you gave it a deadly slap
And flee me away worldly chain
Oh! I love you

When my cheek suffers passion
You arrives with cool warm kiss
Oh! What a fervor emotion!!!
The divine kiss, I dare not miss

Let me swim once in your pool

To feel once your warm embrace
forever my heart, your tool
All to reign in your sacred place
Where hatred is a captive slave
I love you

SANGO OO

Sango oo
The threaten name that threat the fearless
You dwell not in a steamy cave
But in the barrack of lightening
Come thee, with erectic force
And let the grave, a hotty ground

Sango oo
God of double-headed glaring axe
The one whose eyes
A battalion of fire
Who dares peep to thy eyes?
Only those susceptible to blindness

Sango oo
The legendary African King
The lion in the den of mystical power
Visit me not
With your insurmountable enormous pestle
The one who flourish in flame
And lives in the pacific state of war

Sango oo
When cloud magnets solitudeness
Your thunderous lightening
A metamorphosis of nature
Let man not see
Your captivating trembling fire

THE TRAGEDY OF A YOUNG BOY

When to the world I came
  For the drivers of mine
It was a cluster of joy
But a muster of lugubrious     sadness
For those who dwells in sorrow

My past a domicile of endless battle
Will I continue bathing in blood?
No, if the infants propose death
The elders are capable of cremating

Hunger and suffering chairman my life
Grief and pain are my daily bread
Why do I peered into a worthless world?
If I aware that I will be born
I would have loose the train of life

This rope will be my carrier
To the world of the ages
This stool will be my feet
To the chinvat bridge

THE VIRGINS AT NIGHT

ASHEWO!
You malicious espieglerie element
Hanging, tanging and clanging around
Like a wandering backache cockroach
Stigmatizing ugly beauties only at night
Like an encapsuled changing chameleon

OLOSHO
You make the barricaded private parts
An open forum
Seduce me not
Because am insusceptible to your odious external genitals
Beauty bitches being beautified like witches
I salute your inestimable foolishness

ODOKO
Tell me
Is your sealed blood an intact vessel?
Or had been sucked by horny horns?
Underneath the floor
You had it
Your edifying dignity
A repulsive comicality

THE FUTILITY OF LIFE

In the mission of struggle
Man peered to life
He labour for thousand years
To gathers the fruits of the world
Only to leave it behind
And lay in six feet hole

The sand is large
To captivate breathing souls
Tell me the gain?
Of being here
And leave like a snake on rocky
ground

A varlet of sweats day and night
An honest crust just to earn
A stone, man throw to the sky
Only to bringforth an aimed goal
but deflowered by earthly lions

Man view his impotence
When turned to whitish ashes
In his ample bed
Ha! Life of strive
Why was I born?
In bitterness I quenched

Why was I born?
To the world of strict asceticism
Ipso facto, we are born to die
That the world is a stage
Stage?, no, to me but a cage
The life of sweet & bitterberry

But,if Mr death strolls by
Tell him,
That my soul
A docile of excellence
Insurmountable by his crotch

If probably,
that enormous sand
Runs by, Tell her
That my flesh
Not an edible fish
But a -trail of intents-

In this stage of war
our goals we must attained
Before laying In our ample beds

THE TERRESTRIAL MOTHERS

When light vacates and sadness creep
Arise, the grievous murmuring of wandering toads
And the conjunct songs of imparted birds
Sways by in a grotesque shadows

Awon IYA!!!
The scary birds with microscopic eyes
The who took malice the water
And take blood as holy communion
Their noxious captivating smiles
An earthquake of blessing

Ewo oo. (taboo)
If Ogberi sways around
Tell him,
His skull, a sacrificial cup
If the greatest hunter, hunt by
Tell him,
His blood, an ablution sacrament

The scary carcajou!!!
Those whose flesh harbor at home
And their souls transcend abroad
Arrive not to my domicile

Agba!!!
when elongated joy turn sadness
Ask the mothers
When dolefulness powdered the face
And the earth, a heaven hell
Ask the mothers

WHY I'M AN ATHEIST

WHY I'M AN ATHEIST

That entity called God!

Those beings who are clegic!

Those ones who are cleric!
Fool not our immediate sense

Does God exist?
After pain and anguish persist
After unborn child snatched bloodedly
With a sharp headed axe coodedly
After glorious men turn caliginous

Where are you??
When the aged possessed unpalatable grey
When these youngs lay palms to eat
Where are you??
When our phobia now xeno
When our life a metaphor of death

God, who is all powerful
Sleep, when devil struck men
Hide, when stomach cries
Flee, when man take grass as a feast

God, who is all seeing and knowing
Silent, when the evils conspires
Mute, when death pay a warmth visit
Voiceless, when innocent souls got sold

"Only a fool , say He exist not"
who is fooling who?
When a fool says you foolish being
Am i a fool?
If yes, there is sense being foolish
If no, my foolishess is not being fooled

Episode 11 ( response)

WHY I'M NOT AN ATHEIST

My existence, can I undoubtedly proclaim?
When i sleep and wake
A piece of cash to whom i paid?
Who thou archor my life ??

That entity called God
Those beings who are clegic
Those ones who are cleric
Exist independently on their own
To give wisdom and preach love

God certainly exist
Pain, anguish, peace and joy
These are metaphores of life
As right and wrong
Composed sophomoric dualism

God who is all powerful
Reveals, when the apple in your chest
Still beats
Manifest, when you seek first
His will
Rather than unwarrated assumption

God, who is all knowing and seeing
Look, when man conspires
Only awaiting for the consultation
HE desires
Voiced, when thee pleased him
With pure and faithful heart

"Only a fool, says He exist not"
Yes,
Look into the sky
Penned down the begining and the end
Look at your finger nail
After cutting short its elogated growth
Now, mouth me out its sudden rapid growth
There remain no sense in senseless sense
